We are proud to be hosting the 2022 World Paddling Film Festival in Penticton, presented by The Great Escape Outdoors, in support of YORS!  The Paddling Film Festival is an international adventure film tour presenting the world’s best paddling films of the year–whitewater, sea kayaking, canoeing, SUP, action and lifestyle – in more than 120 cities and towns across Canada, United States and around the world.

With 16 inspiring paddling films shortlisted for the World Tour, including the 11 festival category winners, audiences will see hairy whitewater action, sea kayakers exploring remote coastlines, northern river canoe expeditions,international river travel films, motivating environmental documentaries and grueling kayak fishing battles.

So bring a blanket or a lawn chair, grab your family and friends, and hang out with us for a good cause!

Gates open at 6pm for attendees to be able to sit back underneath the gorgeous Penticton skies on the shores of Lake Okanagan at Marina Park, while enjoying snacks and treats from local food trucks, beverages from local breweries, and wineries or non-alcoholic and kid-friendly options. When nature turns the lights down, we'll start the show around 8 and you'll have the chance to watch several inspiring films about paddling that will be sure to get you excited for the Spring and Summer seasons ahead.

100% of the proceeds from all film festival tickets and beverage sales will go towards the Youth Outdoor Recreation Society (YORS).
